Of Course, Kendall Jenner Makes This Polarizing Accessory Feel New Again
Everything slants a bit chicer in Paris. For evidence, look to Kendall Jenner, who this morning stepped out in a '90s-inspired hair accessory that experienced a slight but right revival on runways earlier this year—and made for a decidedly elegant beauty moment when donned by the model.
For an afternoon jaunt to Café de Flore, Jenner pushed back her glossy raven lengths with a black accordion headband, its claws allowing for a slicked though separated crown that gave way to her loose brunette. In keeping with Gallic detailing, Jenner kept the beauty look pared down; clean skin and a balmy bare lip were adorned simply, with slim sunglasses and a single gold necklace—the perfect accompaniment to a dress and strategically tailored topper. Slid over a cadre of low knots at Prabal Gurung this past February, it seems that the throwback headband is moving in the same direction as the claw clip: infinitely easy, stylized, and here to stay.
Kendall Jenner—Where to Begin Over the past year, Vogue.com has kept up with Kendall as she's transformed in the public eye, from reality star to runway sensation to the global face of Estée Lauder. But this is still just the beginning. What do we want to know about Kendall? So much . . . Directed by Gordon von Steiner; Fashion Editor: Tabitha Simmons.
